update time

My brother Charlie is finally out of the Marines now and home for good. He has been to Iraq and has a purple heart to show for it so now he has done his duty and is home to stay (still can't quit worrying though...LOL). He got to come home Tuesday night and he is staying with us right now. Logan is loving that.

Logan and Laney went to the dentist this morning. It was Laney's first time. She did awesome. They took some x-rays to make sure she has all her teeth since she doesn't have the front ones yet but is getting her molars already. All is well. He said it probably won't be long before she gets the front ones because they are there and look like it will be soon. Logan did okay considering he had a horrible experience when he had to have his cavaties taken care of. He was very excited but got scared once we were there so they just brushed his teeth for him and he goes back in 6 mths to try again. Hopefully it will be better then. He was scared of all the equipment they have and I think it just reminded him of having the dental work last year.

This Sunday is the Down syndrome picnic in Gastonia. I can't wait to see everyone again. I am sure I will have some photos to post. I actually have some from our trip last weekend to see Charlie in Jacksonville/Camp Lejeune. We drove down to Wilmington and saw the USS North Carolina battleship. It was amazing!!! Logan loved going up and down all the stairs and seeing all the stuff. He had a blast. Laney seemed to enjoy it as well. I will try to post some of those pics soon.

I had my exercise class...aka torture...on Tuesday night again. I am not as sore as I was last week. Last night I did pilates and then spent some time on the eliptical. Tonight I am doing a class thing that is 2 hours long. It is like a sampler class where you do like 20 minutes or so of each class they offer so you can see what you might be interested in trying out. I can't wait...
